sidecar challenge....
keep track of your pages!
I added a ticker...yeah it's a fundraiser ticker but it will have to do! I set my max at 100,000. Not that my goal is necessarily 100,000 pages. But I want to see how many pages I read in 2009. http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt...undraising.png one rule. Only completed books count. (Articles are fine, Candice!) You can make your own ticker here- http://www.tickerfactory.com/ezticke...r_designer.php or just drop the text into your signature! |
audio's still count on this one?
|
I think she means actual reading here, this seems like a more 'for fun' tracking than actual challenge.
I chose a more realistic number. Of course if I do count all my read alouds, and stuff for school, I can see that number growing. |
audio's count....all pages read/listend.
They sure as heck better since my The Gatehouse is 688 pages! And the end number isn't important at all..... I just had to add a number. It's not a goal I am reaching towards. I just want to see the number of pages read climb. |
For 2008 in figuring the page count for audiobooks, I'd find the books at Amazon, and use the page counts from there. In 2008 I tallied 15,494 pages. I'll check into the ticker. Might also make one for #of books read.
Thank you. |
that's exaclty what I do! Scurry my butt to amazon or b/n and see the page count.
|
You library online catalog would/should have that info as well...
Just throwing some PR in the mix  |
how do you update the ticker?
|
click on your ticker...then select the edit your ticker. you are going to type in your password /pin. Then find the green button that says add. Add the number of pages and then save. Check your number. It should show the change. Your siggy image will update itself.

cool, thanks
