What did you think of Scarpetta?

I've been off of her for a while - after they brought Benton (?) back from the dead...

This was a definite improvement - I thought that she had become way too dark, all the characters dark. I really did like this and the way it ended. I have read them all, but have not enjoyed them all. This one I did and I will read the next: Scarpetta.

BTW - Yesterday I started Scarecrow by Michael Connelly. Not a Harry Bosch, but Jack McEvoy. It is really good so far, read 102 pages just during the time it took to get my nails done!

Scarecrow. That sounds familiar... is it an older one?

I think that it is the latest that it is the latest that is out in paperback. There is a new Harry Bosch in hardback.

I enjoyed 'Scarecrow'. We get to see Bosch from another point of view.

IF you like connelly, have you read The Poet. My friend handed it over to me and I started reading it...just to have something to read...it was an awesome chase! I read it 10 years ago, and it seems like yesterday.

I have and The Scapegoat has one of the same main characters and makes many references to the Poet. I have read all but the latest in hardback and have loved them all.
