Nine in 09!

Happy New Year! We hope this New Year is finding you toasty warm and with loved ones. As 2009 rolls in we at Booktalks would like to issue you a challenge of sorts, well, actually nine challenges!

1. 1001 Books to Read Before you Die- The goal of this challenge is to read 10 books in 10 months from the 1001 Books to Read Before You Die list. For you non-math people, 10 out of 1001 is approximately 1%, hence the title. The challenge will run from Jan 1, 2009 through November 30, 2009.

9. Author Initials Challenge- Take Your three initials.... (Mine are JMT. or JLT if I do my maiden name instead) Find an author whose last name is the same as each intial and read one of their books.

J- James Patterson or Anna Jacobs
M- Melanie Than or Patricia McLaughlin
T- Thomas DiLorenzo or Walter Tevis
